Inspire: The greatest goal of a teacher

 The greatest goal of a teacher, I believe, is not to win awards and accolades nor receive high pays for high performance rating. It is to INSPIRE.....breathe in life into otherwise dying or dead brains....empower weak spirit, instill hope, dreams, aspirations that the students will surely want to be better, if not great, persons. Also, " Monkey sees, Monkey does" applies. A happy teacher usually makes happy students. A well-prepared teacher generally inspires students

 to prepare well, too. And so on and on.....and on....

The teacher may physically die but the inspiration will live on to eternity through generations he or she inspired.  If you don't agree, speak up. If you agree, say so and you can add more insights to continue this thread. Nobody has a monopoly of knowledge among us mortals. So we can learn from each other's ideas. The more I learn, the more I realize I have to be humble for "I,,, know.... nothing....." lol.
